SMP for Alopecia

What is Alopecia?

Alopecia is a medical condition that cause sudden hair loss with no previous warning. There are many different variations of alopecia such as areata, totalis, universalis and many more.

Alopecia areata is the most common cause of alopecia and usually what the other types of alopecia progress from. Areata is where hair loss happens in small coin sized patches. These patches can come and go or they can connect causing bigger areas of hair loss and later progressing to the more severe forms of alopecia.

How can Nico Scalp Help you?

Like all forms of hair loss there is no cure. But there is a guaranteed solution.

With scalp micropigmentation, replicated hair follicles can camouflage the area of hair loss. If you have patched hair loss (alopecia areata) then those areas can be filled in to conceal them amongst the existing hair. If these patches come and go and are unpredictable then it is advised to get the full head treated to ensure that if any new appearing patches appear they will already be concealed.

For other types of alopecia the best treatment is full head. This creates the look of a full shaved head of hair and no one would be able to tell that the follicles are not real.
